1.Registration

Pre-registered participants in Japan:

Please pick up the congress bag and meeting program at the “Meeting Program and Congress Bag Desk”. You will need an exchange ticket, which the NEURO2019 Secretariat has sent to you prior to the meeting. A meeting badge holder is available near the Registration Desk. Participants not wearing meeting badges will be refused entry into the meeting rooms.

 

Pre-registered participants coming from overseas:

Please show up at the “Overseas Desk” at the registration and pick up your meeting badge, meeting program, and congress bag.

 

◆ Onsite registration:

Fill out the registration form and bring it to the “Onsite Registration Desk.” Only cash payment is accepted. We do not accept credit cards.

  • Please collect your meeting badge, a receipt of your payment, the meeting program and congress bag after completing payment.
    Make sure to wear your meeting badge at all times during the meeting.

2.Cloakroom

The cloakroom is available for the storage of your luggage. Please be advised that valuables, umbrellas and perishable goods cannot be accepted.

3.General Meetings and reception

JNS and JSN Members' General Meetings and reception will be held as follows:

The reception is a place for freely exchanging ideas over drinks. We expect attendance of both talented junior researchers/students and senior researchers at the forefront of advancing
Neuroscience and Neurochemistry. Presence of plenary and symposium speakers will help your direct interaction with renowned scientists. We look forward to your attendance. Early registration is advised to secure your spot.
Free shuttle buses are available after the reception.

Participants not wearing meeting badges will be refused entry into the reception room.
Please use “Day Care Service” (pre-registration required) for your child/children, when you attend the reception. For more information on Day Care Service, please visit the meeting website or inquire at the General Information Desk.


 

4.Exhibition and Book shops

The Exhibition, Academia Exhibition, and Book shops will be held as follows:

Stamp rally

If you collect stamps by visiting exhibition booths, you can get a frozen dessert. Stamp rally sheets are enclosed in the meeting programs.

5.Meal service during Education lectures

Meals and drinks will be provided during morning Educational Lectures.


6.Luncheon Seminar Tickets

Lunch services at Luncheon Seminars will be provided by sponsoring companies and groups.
Number of tickets varies depending on each seminar. Ticket distribution will be closed as all the tickets are distributed.
To attend a Luncheon Seminar, you need a ticket for each seminar due to limited amount of lunches offered at a seminar.

Pre-registered participants

Those who registered for Luncheon Seminar(s) will be receive “Luncheon Seminar Ticket(s)” with your meeting badge in mid-July. Please make sure to bring it (them) with you.


Participants who will register onsite

30% of seminar tickets will be distributed on each seminar day. We strongly recommend you to come to the following place to receive the tickets early since number of tickets is limited.

* Tickets are limited to one ticket per day per attendee.


Attention

Luncheon Seminar Ticket is invalid after the start time of each seminar (July 25: 12:20 / July26, 27, 28: 12:00).
Please arrive at seminar rooms before the start time. If you do not show up the rooms by the start time, the lunches will be provided to those who are attending the seminars without the tickets.


Attending Luncheon Seminars without tickets

You can attend Luncheon Seminars without tickets, however, note that no lunch service will be provided.


7.Credits for Specialist Doctors, Board-Certified Doctors, and Trainee Board- Certified Pharmacists

With your participation at NEURO2019, you will be able to obtain credits for training programs from the respective societies listed below. Please take this opportunity if you are enrolled in any of these training programs:

  • Japanese Society of Psychiatry and Neurology *1
  • Japanese Society of Child Neurology
  • Japanese Psychogeriatric Society
  • Japanese Pharmacists Education Center

To apply for the credits, show your meeting badge and a receipt to those respective societies. Please contact societies directly for more information.

*1 You can renew your specialist certification with the Japanese Society of Psychiatry and Neurology by attending any one of designated lectures.

Abstracts will not be printed for distribution, but will be available at NEURO2019 website even after the meeting ends.

Free Wi-Fi service is available. Electrical outlets are also available at the resting space.

11.Press Room

Information will be actively provided to the press as part of the PR activities of the meeting. For this purpose, a Press Room will be set up to assist reporters in smoothly covering the meeting and to enable more in-depth reporting, such as inviting specific lecture presenters for interviews. Press registration at the General Information Desk is required for media representatives by showing their press credentials (freelance writers must show their personal ID and copies of several published articles) and by presenting their business cards. Registered media can invite researchers for interviews, take photographs or record interviews only in the Press Room. This room is also available as a working space.

      • * You will receive a confirmation email along with the “Terms of services” and “Application sheet.” If you do not receive an email by July 18, please call them directly.

  • Insurance: POPO has taken out insurance to respond to unexpected accidents, and is covered within the scope of its insurance coverage. However, we would like to mention that the Japan Neuroscience Society, the Japanese Society for Neurochemistry, and NEURO2019 will not bear responsibility for any accidents.

【Important】

Baby sitters will be arranged based upon your reservations. You will be asked to pay the full amount based on your reservation, even if you did not use the service. If you are delayed in picking up your child / children, you will be asked to pay for the overtime fees.

  

Lactation Room

There is a Lactation Room located within the Daycare Room. This room can be used without applying for the Daycare Room. For information on the location of the Daycare Room, please contact the customer service desk located within the participant reception area.


13.Paging service

No paging service will be provided.


14.Prohibitions

  • Photography, video recording, and sound recording of the presented data is prohibited.
  • Smoking is prohibited except in the designated areas.
  • Please refrain from writing about presentations on SNS sites.
  • Please set your mobile phones to silent mode or turn them off in the presentation rooms.
